Teriyaki Salmon Steak with Pak Choi & Lime

Two perfectly pan-fried VÅRLAKS salmon steaks, lightly glazed with teriyaki, paired with fresh, crunchy pak choi and finished with a squeeze of lime. Light, fresh and full of flavour – without feeling like “diet food”.

Serves: 2
Protein: ±33–35 g per serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 VÅRLAKS salmon fillets (±150 g each)

  • 2 pak choi, chopped

  • 2 tsp sesame oil (or any neutral oil)

  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce

  • 2 limes

  • Salt & pepper

  • Optional, but encouraged: Sesame seeds or chili flakes

Steps:

  • Heat a pan with the sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Pan-fry the salmon for 3 minutes per side until golden and just cooked through.
  • Add the teriyaki sauce in the last minute and gently glaze the salmon.
  • In the same pan, quickly stir-fry the pak choi for 1–2 minutes. Keep it green and crisp.
  • Serve the salmon with the pak choi and finish with fresh lime juice, sesame seeds and chili flakes.
