Grilled Salmon with Lemon-Herb Glaze
This recipe brings togheter tender Arctic salmon, a zesty lomon-soy glaze, and the earthy flavors of thyme, basil, and oregano. It’s quick to prepare, packed with flavour, and pairs perfectly with vibrant vegetables. A simple, satisfying dish for any day of the week.
Ingredients (serves 2):
2 VÅRLAKS salmon fillets
1 tbsp soy sauce (light or low sodium)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
Juice of ½ lemon
2 cloves garlic, mincedl
½ tsp of oregano
½ tsp dried or fresh thyme
½ tsp dried or fresh basil
Salt & pepper to taste
Broccoli, cauliflower & carrots (steamed or lightly sautéed)
Optional: lemon slices for garnish
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C / 355°F (fan).
- Make the glaze.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, garlic and herbs. - Prep the tray.
Cut the vegetables into small, even pieces so they roast evenly. Place them in a baking dish or tray lined with baking paper, drizzle with a bit of oil and season lightly. - Pe-roast the veggies.
Bake the vegetables on their own for 5 minutes first for a softer result — or skip this step if you like them with a bit of bite. - Add the salmon.
Place the salmon fillets in the tray, among the veggies. Spoon the glaze over both the salmon and vegetables. - Bake.
Return to the oven and bake everything together for 12–14 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. Add lemon slices in the last 5 minutes, if desired.
