CREAMY TAGLIATELLE WITH SALMON & DILL

This tagliatelle with salmon and dill is a light yet creamy pasta dish with a fresh, aromatic twist. The soft VÅRLAKS salmon, combined with lemon and dill, creates a perfectly balanced meal that feels both comforting and refined.
An easy salmon pasta recipe that works just as well for a quick dinner as for a more elevated meal.
Ingredients: (serves: 2)
200 g tagliatelle
2 VÅRLAKS salmon fillets
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small shallot (finely chopped)
1 clove garlic (minced)
100 ml cooking cream
50 ml white wine (optional)
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh dill (finely chopped)
Salt & black pepper
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese
Steps:
- Cook the pasta
Cook the tagliatelle in salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Reserve a small cup of pasta water, then drain. - Prepare the salmon
Season the salmon lightly with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the salmon for 3–4 minutes per side until just done. Remove from the pan and gently flake into chunks. - Make the sauce
In the same pan, sauté the shallot for 2–3 minutes until soft. Add garlic and cook briefly. Deglaze with white wine (if using) and let it reduce slightly.
Add the cream, lemon zest and lemon juice. Let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. - Combine
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, along with a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
Gently fold in the salmon and fresh dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. - Serve
Divide over plates and finish with extra dill, lemon slices or Parmesan if desired.
