VÅRLAKS represents premium, sustainably farmed salmon from above the Arctic Circle. Our salmon comes from Norwegian family-owned farms in the Arctic region, where generations of expertise and dedication ensure a product of exceptional quality. Our products are antibiotic-free, ASC-certified, and fully traceable.
The VÅRLAKS concept has experienced remarkable growth in recent years. Our brand is now listed with retailers in the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria. Additionally, we have established a presence with three leading retailers in the United States. Beyond retail, VÅRLAKS is also expanding in the Out of Home category and the meal kit segment.
With our slogan “Let’s go up North”, we invite consumers and partners to discover the purity of the far north. We are looking for a passionate Unit Leader to take VÅRLAKS, as a dedicated business unit within Visscher Seafood Group, to new heights.
What will you do?
Running the VÅRLAKS business unit commercially and operationally.
Lead the VÅRLAKS team and ensure optimal collaboration.
Be responsible for the entire marketing mix (7Ps).
Actively support our sales channels, including retailers and distributors.
Coach the Visscher sales team with a focus on VÅRLAKS sales.
Develop new products within the VÅRLAKS product line to enhance our portfolio.
Expand the VÅRLAKS brand by establishing partnerships (e.g., with NGOs and co-packers).
Collaborate with our family-owned farms in the Norwegian Arctic region to guarantee quality and sustainability.
Travel to share the inspiring VÅRLAKS story worldwide and represent our brand.
What do you bring?
Higher education.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Fluency in English is essential.
Strong organizational and commercial skills.
A passion for travel and enthusiasm for meeting unique people and visiting extraordinary places around the world.
A genuine connection with the VÅRLAKS brand and its values is an absolute must.
